Press Note:Galaktika Records 19th reference counts on Patrick Zigon. A rising value in the Techno Germany. Born and raised in the southern Germany. Now living in Konstanz, at the beautiful Lake of Constance. Patrick has managed since 2000 to put his tracks and remixes on so prestigious labels as Puzzle Traxx, Treibstoff, Trapez or Cocoon to name a few.Zigon, in Auttotude EP, bring us closer into a mysterious world, with rounded and zigzag sounds where nothing is what it seems to be.For the title track of the EP, Auttotude, Patrick manages to design a track with a full of shades and efficient progression. These characteristics make this track one of the best of the season.
Navaza’s quality doesn’t remain behind. This is a typical Patrick Zigon track. In this occasion, he goes straight to the point, but he doesn’t lose the intimacy which is the key of this release. How Galaktika Record use to do, this release comes with remixes. In this case, three remixes created by Lars Wickinger, Paulo Olarte and a four hands job remix in charge of James Teej & Patrick Bateman. These two last are only available in digital version.
The Lars Wickinger’s vision about Autottude is more intrepid but keeping the original atmosphere of the track. Paulo Olarte create a very personal version of the track embellishing with a latin warm making this remix one of the more special. Meanwhile James Teej & Patrick Bateman weave a filigree where they mix the sensitivity of the original track with the power that these two producers add.
In conclusion, this EP has not waste, with a carefull production including key tracks for the next season.

Quality sustained ;)

Jay Grogan (slick dj mag): Hope all is well. Really liked this release. All the remixes were great, there’s a nice variation between them.
Half Stereo (Turkey): Galaktika is one of the nicest labels from Barcelona Spain with a decent selection of releases. Including lots of good artist in it's artist rooster, it has just reached number nineteen with Germany's Patrick Zigon.
Mr. Zigon has released from Trapez, Cocoon and Traibstoff who made quite a name for himself with delicate sound attempts for the dance floor. Patrick Zigon's Galaktika debut sees three remix treatmens which the two will be only availabe for the digital diggers. "Auttotude" is the best introduction to the Patrick Zigon soundscape. Hailing from lake Konstanz, Zigon has a direct melodical and fragile sound, like a vinyl made up of glass.
You have to carry and play it with utmost care and gotto use brushes instead of needles to hear a sound. This effort of yours will lead to "Navaza" a classically designated track for the dance floor. Lars Wickinger has gone through his way with some clicks and a heavy base while, Paulo Olarte deals with the melody and groove which makes his remix my favorite in the EP. James Teej & Patrick Bateman's interpretation is as good as Olarte's. They have gone deep and dubby while not forgetting the muted symbals and sub elements crowding the shiny atmosphere or Zigon's piece. Overall we see again a delicious attemt from the South Side man Patrick Zigon.
Felicidades. Iván Ramos
Docepulgadas.com : Una vez mas me sorprende galaktika records.
